CJs Baptism!
CJ was Baptized Sunday September 14th. He did a great job. Even the minister talked that he never had a baby so excited. It was great to have all of the family in town together.

Savannah Turns 3!!!
Well I haven't posted in a while. Guess that is what happens when I go back to work.
We celebrated Savannah's birthday a few weeks early to coincide with CJ's baptism. We had a carnival birthday. Savannah loves going to carnivals. So we had games (fish pond, face painting, lolipop tree, bean bag toss) and a bounce house. I bought one for her for her birthday. Even though Jim didn't want to get it, he now gets the fun the kids have with it. We even got a pinata. Savannah had a great time.

Labor Day Weekend.
We had a pretty packed weekend. On Friday I took the kids to the zoo for a few hours. We had a nice time. CJ was good as always while we were there.
Friday night I had my 2nd Fantasy Football draft. I wasn't planning on being in any this year and somehow I am now in 2! The first one is just for fun with friends and family through Facebook. Then Jim had an odd number for his draft that was $20. So I said fine I will join. So we did that Friday night. It is so funny how crazy these guys get. We had our neighbor Steve over as well. They were all stressed in between picks while I did laundry. I guess we will see what strategy was better as the season progresses.
On Saturday we cleaned most of the morning. Jim's parents came over that evening because we had a wedding to go to. It was a nice time.
Sunday we didn't do much in the morning and headed to the Janscura's for their Labor Day party. In true Savannah fashion we had a few melt downs. But overall she did well. She really enjoyed playing in the bouncehouse. I think we are going to buy her one for her birthday because I think the kids will get a lot of use out of it.
Then today we decided to head to the Soak City at Cedar Point. Probably not our best idea. CJ always does well when we go to these places. He loves just hanging out. The weather was great today because it was nice and cool in the shade. Savannah didn't like water on her head so she didn't really do much. They had great things for toddlers. It is too bad. Maybe next year.
Now it is back to work for us tomorrow. Savannah starts gymnastics on Wednesday! That should be interesting.

Cedar Point - Take 2!
So we decided to head to Cedar Point again over the weekend. We had so much fun the first time. We did the after 5 thing again, but this time we were even smarter. We brought in our own food (well snuck it in). It was so expensive last time for all of us to eat dinner. Savannah had a great time again. We rode a few rides with her. She even rode the "big" roller coaster. CJ hung out as usual and just took it all in.
The story Jim wants me to tell is when he and Savannah were standing in line for the cars. They were standing over this sewer grate and it kind of smelled. So Savannah grabbed Jim's behind and asked him if he pooped. Kind of funny because that is always what we are doing to her. I am sure the people standing around them in line got a good chuckle.

Bath Time!
Well I haven't posted in a while. Guess you can tell I went back to work and am not sitting around all day at home.
CJ took his first bath in the tub. Savannah thought it was so cool that her brother was joining her. And he really enjoyed not being in a cramped sink! He was kicking all about.
I even found some of Savannah's letters that spelled out CJs name!

Girls Weekend in Chicago
Savannah and I headed to Chicago this past weekend for a girls weekend prior to me heading back to work. We headed out to visit friend from college. We left the house mid-morning on Thursday. I wasn't looking forward to the ride with Savannah, but she did great. I thought with the potty training we would have to make more stops.
When we arrived, Paychek greeted us. We found a spot on the street right outside her condo!! We unpacked and hung out a bit. We then headed out to dinner. We went to a place called Flattop. Where it is a make your own stirfry place. Yummy! Savannah didn't eat much, but what else is new. We were pretty tired so off to bed we went.
Friday morning we decided to head to the beach. Savannah had a blast! She could have stayed there all day. We thought the water was going to be cold and it was much warmer than we thought it was going to be. Oh and the best part of the beach I think for Savannah was we got to ride the train there. She kept talking about how many "buddies" kept getting on and off the train. It was pretty funny. We headed to a little mexican place for lunch and then back to Paychek's for nap time.

After nap we decided to head out to Kiddyland! It was a little amusement park for kids. And of course Savannah had a blast. She loved rides. We did the roller coaster, the ferris wheel, the merry go round and even some water ride where Savannah and I got soaked. Once again off to bed! By the way sleeping with a 2 year old on a blow up mattress! Yikes. That girls moves around a lot. She has never slept with us so I had no idea how much that girl moves around!

On Saturday we headed to the zoo. We stopped off first to get Kristin's new iPhone (which is really cool by the way), and then we were off. We had a nice time at the zoo. It was a really cool zoo. Much different than the one we have here. We had a little accident at the playground so had to leave somewhat quickly.

We drove around a bit because Savannah fell asleep in the car. I knew she wouldn't go back to sleep. That night we headed down to a festival a few block away. We took the bus there (another cool thing for Savannah!) and walked back. It was nice, but pretty crowded. A stroller trying to go through a bunch of drunk people :)
We went to brunch on Sunday and then back to Cleveland. The ride home was great too. Savannah slept for over half of it. We had a great time in Chicago. It was about time for us to visit Paychek! She is always coming here. Hope we can do it again sometime. Maybe the whole family the next time.
Oh and PS - CJ went for his 4 month check up on Wednesday. He was 16 pounds 7 ounces! Still a little chunker! 89% for weight and 99% for height!

Cereal!
Smuckers!
Jim and I had our first night out without the kids (well 1st overnight). We headed to the Indians game and the kids went to Jim's parents for the night. It was a very nice night and the kids behaved! So that is good! We picked them up on Saturday morning and wanted to do something. Jim's parents mentioned heading down to Smucker's. So we headed down there. There really isn't much other than a store, but it was a nice trip. We bought a few things and had a grilled PB&J. That was tasty. Nothing like a good old peanut butter and jelly sandwich. We then headed to a few Amish furniture stores. I was looking for a console table for behind the couch. They were all a little bit more than I wanted to spend. We then headed home and ended up stopping at the outlets in Lodi because CJ woke up and was hungry. While Jim fed CJ in the car, Savannah and I headed to the Carter's store to buy them some fall clothes. Savannah proceeded to pee on the floor! Boy that was great. They were really good about it. Since this was only day 2 in underwear I did have a change of clothes. We then had two more accidents that day! Let's hope this isn't a trend.

The kids are getting so big!!!
So this weekend we were finally in town. We have been out of town the last 3 weekends. So Friday night we went to the pool party up at Five Seasons. It was very crowded, but ended up being fun. Savannah played in the pool and went in the bounce house. We were getting ready to leave and she said she wanted to go off the diving board. So I said ok. She had her swimmy arms on. I went in the water and our neighbor Patti helped her on the board. She walked to the end and went right off. No hesitation. So of course we had to do it again. By the third time the lifeguard was actually paying attention and said we couldn't go off with the bands. That resorted in some crying, but I was so proud of her going. It might be a while until she can do it again, but maybe not!!!! Sorry no pictures! I was in the water.
Then our little boy decided he liked the exersaucer. He had so much fun in it. He was chatting up a storm. As you can see in the video below.
He had so much fun he fell asleep! He takes after his mommy. He can sleep anywhere!
Then last but not least. His daddy took this pisture! Need I say more?

Swim Lessons
Savannah has been going to swim lessons the last two weeks. She took them at a friend's pool. It was 8 days for 30 minutes each day. I really did see an improvement at the end. While she isn't swimming, she is much more comfortable in the water than she was before. She will go under. And yesterday she had her swim wings on and would jump in the pool without me holding on to her. She did this for about 30 minutes straight! Wore me out just watching her. If she got listening to the teacher and waiting her turn out of it I would have been happy. Hopefully I can work out her doing them again next year when I am working.
